    Garuda Indonesia Include The Passenger Service Charge (PSC) in Ticket Price on March 2015

    MyAmazingAdventure - Garuda Indonesia Include the Passenger Service Charge (PSC) or Airport Tax to the ticket price and will affect passengers who will utilize the airlines's service from March 2015 onwards. 

    For all passengers who have bought air tickets before 9 February 2015 and flying before 1 March 2015,  they still have to pay the PSC at the airport upon checking in. But for booking ticket from February 9, 2015 onwards and flight date start from 1 March 2015, Garuda Indonesia set the Passengers Service Charge (PSC) is include in your ticket price. 

    PSC apllied to all domestic and international flight departure from Indonesia. This Provision involves both airport operators PT Angkasa Pura I and PT Angkasa Pura II, airlines and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) 

    PSC is exempt for:

    1. Infants (under two years old) without seat
    2. Transit/transfer within 24 hours on tickets to international destination via Indonesia
    3. Transit/transfer within 24 hours on ticket to domestic destination
    4. State guest of Indonesia government with declaration letter, on official visit with official aircraft
    5. Involuntary rerouting i.e due to technical problems, postponement or weather condition

    Previously Garuda Indonesia has set the PSC in the ticket price since October 2012 but the airlines scrapped the Policy in September 2014 because of other airlines in Indonesia has not set the PSC in their ticket and made the ticket price of Garuda Indonesia seemingly higher then the other airlines’ ticket
